Power to the Kaka’ako campus was restored mid-morning on Monday, July 25, 2016, after being out (except for emergency generator power) since Sunday evening. Flooding from the tropical storm affected a utility substation serving the Kaka’ako campus.

While regular power has been restored, floors are slick in some areas because of humidity. Kaka’ako students, faculty and staff who usually populate the Medical Education Building (MEB) should plan to return to the Kaka’ako campus on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. MEB will remain closed until Tuesday. Biosciences Building operations are returning to normal.

Operations at The Gold Bond Building are NOT AFFECTED. CLINICS at Gold Bond (677 Ala Moana) are OPEN and operating normally; students and employees at Gold Bond (677 Ala Moana Building) are expected to work their regular schedules.

OIT Director Vance Mizuba advises anyone at JABSOM and affiliates with computer issues should contact the JABSOM Helpdesk.
