Planning a JABSOM Class Reunion? WE CAN HELP!
The John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Alumni Association and Alumni Affairs Team are ready and eager to help you plan your next JABSOM Class Reunion. While we know that components of a typical Class Reunion include activities at restaurants, parks, and homes, please consider having a part or your reunion activities here on the JABSOM Kaka’ako campus. Here are some of the services and benefits we can offer:
Communication and Marketing. Let us help you with invitations, reminders and tracking RSVPs.
Venue. If you are interested in holding part of your event here on campus, we can help you secure a meeting room. We can also arrange for tours of the Medical Education Building.
Program. If you are thinking of planning a CME-granting program as part of your reunion activities, we can assist with the CME application process. There will still be some work that your CME planning team and speakers will need to be responsible for, but we can help with some of the paperwork and navigating the system. NOTE: There are some fees associated with the CME application process, and this process takes several months to complete (so start early!).
Speakers. We can arrange for someone from the Deans Office, JABSOM Alumni Association, and/or Office of Medical Education to provide updates on the school and ways that Alumni can get involved.
Food. We can assist with ordering and delivering food to your on-campus event.
Check-in and campus parking. We can assist with reception tables, name tags and room set-up. We can also help arrange for parking near campus (NOTE: Depending on the time/day there may be parking fees).
