The Joint Healthcare Opportunities Conference on April 20th, 2019 is free and open at will be held at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Campus on April 20, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Once a year on Oahu, the Joint Healthcare Opportunities Conference (JHOC) offers various interactive sessions designed to inspire middle school students to consider working in health care fields.

The Joint Healthcare Opportunities Conference is coordinated by the Hawaii/Pacific Basin Area Health Education Center at JABSOM and the JABSOM recruitment committee. Workshop partners include: UH Hilo Daniel K. Inouye School of Pharmacy, UH Manoa JABSOM Student Immunization Initiative, UH Manoa JABSOM Communication Sciences & Disorders, Kapiolani Community College EMT program, and Kapiolani Community College Respiratory Care Practitioner Program. Funding was provided by the Hawaii/Pacific Basin Area Health Education Center, grant U77HP08404 from the Health Resources and Services Administration.
