From the amazing opportunities made available through the University of Hawaii (UH) John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), to the long-lasting friendships made while learning and studying together to become doctors. The sense of community encountered at the UH medical school is apparent, especially in this anecdotal video featuring the newest graduates of the JABSOM MD 2019 Class.
“It’s like coming home when you get to JABSOM,” said Dr. Michael Brigoli in the video.
Dr. Jonathan Woo said,”Medical school is challenging– emotionally and intellectually– so I think the people that I was around and the memories made are things that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.”
Hear Drs. Brigoli and Woo along with several other new doctors reminisce about their time at JABSOM, in the video below.
