RESEARCH Compliance Task Force Report–Read It Here

To address long-standing issues and reduce the administrative workload on faculty, the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation established the Research Compliance Task Force (RCTF) with the charge to identify and recommend improvements to current compliance processes and procedures at the University.

“I would like to invite you and your faculty, staff and students to join members of the RCTF and myself at a forum hosted by Chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman (UH Mānoa location) to discuss the results and recommendations of the recently completed RCTF report,” said Dr. Vassilis Syrmos. TaskForceReportGrabIn addition to the discussion on the RCTF report, Dr. Syrmos would also like to update everyone on the UH research enterprise and ambitious efforts underway to help diversify the state’s economy through the aggressive commercialization of UH research.

Date: Friday, November 20, 2015,  9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

The forum will be broadcast to sites at campuses statewide, including: by remote hookup–UH Cancer Center Sullivan Center at Kaka’ako, as well as the UH IT Center, 1st Floor Conference Room, at UH Mānoa.
