Teen Health Camp Kauaʻi 2018 was held this past Saturday, February 10th at Kawaikini Public Charter School in Līhuʻe. Thirty-nine middle through high school students learned practical and clinical skills through workshops taught by first year medical students from the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa, John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM).
The JABSOM Area Health Education Center offers Teen Camps and a host of other programs to tell young people statewide about health careers, and to support them as they seek to achieve their educational and career goals.
The next Teen Health Camp is on Molokaʻi, on Saturday, February 17!
