It is the Year of the Dog and we got some of the students in our MD Classes of 2020 and 2021 together, to have some fun and tell us a little about the holiday and about Spikey, the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Therapy Dog. Spikey is an Alaskan Klee Kai, whose human is Dr. Jill Omori (JABSOM MD 1995), Director of the Office of Medical Education at JABSOM.
Karen Chang, MD Class President for the Class of 2021, tells us a little about the traditions of Chinese New Year, while Spikey has fun and the MD students wish you a Kung Hei Fat Choi!
